Coach x Disney Kisslock Bag
Size: 5″ x 5.75″ x 3.5″ inches (L x H x W)
Price: $395 USD
Disney is the place where we go to have fun – Walt Disney made the park for children as well as for grown-ups. Some people even propose at Disney World.
But anyways, when it comes to Disney accessories like toys and t-shirts, we think they’re great for kids. But for grown-ups, I don’t think so.
And so when we got the news that Coach is collaborating with Disney to create fresh new handbags, we were like: ‘really?’.
We waited until the day of release and we were stunned. These bags actually look good.
Not only are they cute, but they’re gorgeous as well. I think Coach put a lot of huge effort to make these bags chic and fit for grown-ups.
Each style is decorated with elements from Disney, some are embellished with big ears of Mickey Mouse, and others are crafted with a Mickey Mouse print or logo. Honestly, we love them all.
Another question we’re asking is: ’What is Disney trying to do?’. Are they trying to enter the fashion world or is this just an one-time collaboration.
But anyways, if you want to invest, you should do it now because we think they will get sold-out very soon. All bags available via Coach e-store.

NOVELTY BAGS TRENDS
The fashion industry has hosted a logo renaissance over the past few season, with brands likeAlexander Wang and DKNY plastering their logos all over clothes, much to the pleasure of streetwear-obsessed fashion customers. When it comes to accessories, though, the trend has been a bit different. Instead of the monogram-covered bags that were a hallmark of the early 2000s, handbag lovers have turned their attention to bags festooned from everything from Snoopy to Cornflakes, and the fit of nostalgia doesn't appear to be waning.
It's not hard to understand why handbags don't really fit into the current wave of logo-mania; logo bags are still too freshly crass-feeling in the minds of most consumers to qualify for a nostalgia tour. Much of the trend's clothing references the 80s and 90s, but logo bags were still incredibly popular as recently as ten years ago, and that's not a generous enough break for the look to come around again.
Instead, handbag designers have looked to other sources of cultural nostalgia to pull at customers' heartstrings. For instance, Coach collaborated with Peanuts for Snoopy and Woodstock-festooned bags that debuted at Colette in Paris; Anya Hindmarch teamed up with Kellogg's for cereal-themed bags and accessories; and Moschino has co-opted McDonald's, Barbie, Hershey's and Spongebob Squarepants in the space of two seasons under the creative control of Jeremy Scott.
By all indications, consumers are responding enthusiastically to these brands' not-so-serious take on accessories. Coach's Peanuts collection sold out in less than 24 hours at the brand's website, Hindmarch's cereal bags sold so well that they're back from a second season and Scott's use of brand imagery took Moschino from an also-ran to an industry favorite almost instantly. Not only do nostalgia collaborations sell well, but they can help a designer reach a larger audience than they could with the company's normal designs, even if those designs are excellent.
There's no indication that this trend is going anywhere soon, so it's time to start hoping that something wonderful from your childhood makes it onto a bag. Personally, I'll be holding my breath in anticipation of some designer doing a Daria capsule collection and making my entire life worth living.

Louis Vuitton
The next time you go to a supermarket, think about your look’s glamor quotient. Because, apparently aisle cruising trends are changing! Ever since Monsieur Louboutin took it upon himself anyway, and designed a shopping trolley for Louis Vuitton’s “The Icon and Iconoclasts” range.
Unless you’ve been following our updates, it might be surprising to find Christian Louboutin lend his studded swank to LV merch. But much like the other five iconoclasts who were brought on board for the project, he has his DNA all over his offerings. The bag comes bearing rounded Toron handles and red calf-hair back panel, studs on the front pocket, on the House trunk-inspired golden brass corners, and with a stunning metal Siamoise ornament.
Inside is natural cowhide lining and plenty of room, along with a red-calf and Monogram Lace clutch, to stash the change perhaps? “A classic bag, the most Parisian bag so that you can be super glamorous. You don’t have to feel like a loser with your leeks inside your bag.” said Christian Louboutin. Even with that, we don’t see ourselves carrying much grocery in it. Because the leather luggage tag may read LV but the price tag does, $23,000!
